Malaysia Justco / Restoran King Crab / The Simpsons Movie
Miao jioed Eric, Jem, Mingwei and Tongyan to drive up to Malaysia's Justco for shopping, so we all met at Woodlands and drove through Tuas 2nd Link (cos Miao dunno how to go from Woodlands, haha) to "Justco". From the outside, Justco looked huge, maybe like Vivocity in Spore. We were starving so we had lunch at a place called Flintstone (nothing inside the restaurant was similar to Flintstone, just maybe there were many rocks around) before we started walking about in the mall. It housed many famous brands like Levis, Esprit, Roxy, G2000, Calvin Klein, Topman etc... Prices not exactly very cheap, only Eric and Tongyan bought some things. Haha! So the saying that "Justco was so big until you need 4 hours to complete walking the whole mall" was a hoax... maybe it is true if you are rich but if u are looking for cheap stuff... erm it would not be the right place.Dinner was at this place called "Restoran King Crab". A nice air-conditioned place... food tasted good and not exactly very expensive. We spent about Rm$200... shared out about S$20. Had salted egg yoke crab, butter crab, drunkened prawns, chicken, vegetables and toufu... a great spread right~ So happily we made our way back to Spore, Miao lost his way. We just drove amd drove... end up we were at the Woodlands Causeway haha! Seems nearer really, so i guess next time miao knows how to go to Malaysia from Woodlands alr.
After dropping the rest, Miao and I went to AMK Hub for "The Simpsons Movie". It was GREAT! Haha! the jokes were very funny, especially Bart and Homer... For those who have not watched it, pay and watch... I am telling you it is worthwhile.... After the show I'm sure you will start singing this "Spider Pig Spider Pig..." song... Zhang's Birthday Surprise
25th July is Zhang's birthday.....Aunt Pauline wanted to give her darling a surprise, so invited all of us to a buffet dinner (hiding the buffet tables and food in the balcony... all the ppl in Zhang's room) yesterday evening... Well she did have a SHOCK... haha with all that balloon bursting... shouting.... popping of party streamers.... (seems like the planners were more excited, if u get wat i mean *wink*) Not very sure wat she needs, so we decided to give her 23 different presents with all our birthday wishes....Got a really huge bag for her presents that comprises of shower cap... water dispenser... bank box... card... mini massager... socks.... many many food items like tibits, biscuits, sweets.... Glad she loves them! haha!
As for the rest of us... we (okie... maybe it's ME, haha) TOTALLY enjoyed the great food... brownies... oaks prawns.... fried fish and dumpling etc etc..... the adults and youngsters enjoyed the catch-up sessions... the kids enjoyed the *STRESSED* card games.... I was playing with the YELLOW BUNNY EARS with my dad... haha.... basically a great family gathering...
To Zhang... hope you have a great birthday on 25th July... a year older but definitely a year filled with more excitment and laughter..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHANG!

Mega Racial Harmony Day Carnival cum Open House 07
The day began in the early morning.... everybody in school preparing by 8am... busy with the cultural booths... the games booths... the making up for the performers.... wooah... sure mad rush.... the GOH came.... visited the booths.... seen the concert.... but the crowd still continued to flow in.... Parents, pupils, ex-pupils, public... they keep on coming in all the way till 5pm....In between the 3 shifts of concert... had some free time... took photos with Beryl... Jackson... the Chinese teachers and my cute Chinese Dancers.... well... a colourful day of action.... look out for the interesting traditional costumes we were wearing... nice hor? haha... Chinese become Indians... Malays... interesting...

A Special Day without the Special One
Today is a special day... but the special one is far far away in Korea... 18 July... 5 long years ago on this date... we met and have been on this journey togething... Not a very exciting one... but it is a SIMPLE, STRONG and STEADY one... Just glad that he is there all the time... thanks miao!

Peaceful Sunday
Sunday passed quite peacefully... Met Minyann to pass her the photos I took on Sat so she could compiled and burned them into a CD for all of us... thanks gal! we appreciate it... really.... then went to Miao's house then we drove all the way to Tampines Safra to bowl... in the end there was some bowling event there, so no lanes for us to bowl. The people there were really good... professional man... there was this ah pek... seriously he looked like someone who sells durian... his score was like 230!!!! GREAT right?
Ate at Changi Village... then went to Aunt Kim's house to get the punjabee suit for the coming Racial Harmony Day on Sat... pants suit... easy and comfortable... just the attire for working...

Cedar Presence Felt Again at the National Stadium
It was really a very very exciting day today.... Ms Poon and Yiwen sent out email to gather past and present Cedarians for phototaking at the National Stadium some weeks ago... and finally TODAY's the day!
We all gathered at the Stadium (which will be demolished soon to make way for a new one) at about 4pm.... Only 5 sisters turned up with me (Jas and Bizhen couldn't make it).... People started to stroll in.... and in the end there were about 300 over ex-Cedarians there! WOOAAH!!
We had many wonderful memories there... the National Track and Fields... the SYF Band Competition.... the tying of the longest Cedar banner to show we support for our sportswomen..... the loudest powerful cheers we shout till our throat ache "Thunderation" & "Cedar Unite"
We took many many shots of this place of memories... we took many many shots with great frens whom we have lost contact with for almost 9 years... it was really a memorable day for Cedarians.... I met Pearl (my lab partner), Barbita (one of my best fren in Cedar), Bernice (my 155 bus kaki), Liang Rong & ChunLi (my choir mates), Kaiping, Juliana, Weixuan (my fellow prefects), Wanlin, Ruiyi & Evelyn (my fellow camp leaders).... many many many special people
Being there for this event makes me believe this saying now.... Once a Cedarian, Always a Cedarian! Love you always... Cedar! :)

NE Show @ Marina Bay
It all started in school at 3pm... all the excited P5 pupils gathered in the hall waiting to go to Marina Bay for the NE Show... Class by class the pupils went to the storeroom to get their fun packs... finally when it is time to board the bus it was about 4pm...
We alighted on the road along the "Durian".... we ended up have to walk all the way back to the Marina Bay side entrance to go into the grandstand.... when we finally sat down.... it was already 6 plus....
The programme started.... not very interesting... just like the parachuters performances, the introductions of really cool boats/ helicopers that Spore has and YES... the FIREWORKS~
This year was not bad... we managed to reach school by 1015pm... unlike the previous year where they reached back at abt 1am... Smaller grandstand... lesser spectators... so faster movement.... haha! Blessing in disguise....

Dinner at JiJi Hokkaido Hotpot
Such a boring Sunday.... walked ard Orchard Road... realised that the weather was really hot.... so kept hiding in the air-conditioned shopping centres.... haha! Typical Sporean...
Took MRT to Dhoby Ghaut... walked to Selegie...and ate Paradize Centre's JiJi Hokkaido Hotpot for dinner... din know that we can order just one serving for the 2 of us... we ordered 2 sets... end up we were really really very full... BUT it was really delicious... alot of vegetables and mushrooms.... fresh meat.... nice desserts.... good service as well....Should try! :)

A Series of Cousins Gatherings
Luo is back and so we "carried out" a series of cousins gatherings... to catch up :)
Fri Nite: Went to Prata House for supper... and the rest were SOOOOO late (45mins late) so Huixian and I decided to play with the camera :)
Sat Nite: Went to Zhang's house for donut party and mahjiong... bad luck... I became the BIG LOSER.... Luo was the BIG WINNER.... It has been quite exciting cos it is the FIRST time we are playing with REAL money haha! U see it has been always mahjiong chips tats all....
Geat FUN... hope Luo has enjoyed himself before he starts work tomorrow!!
